I have a Samsung semi automatic washing machine. It is under warranty. I had lodged a complaint vide complaint No. 8411315935 dated 31/12/2009. After several calls made, Mr.Shifat visited my place on 7th Jan 10 and told that some belt needs to be replaced. Till date (13/01/2010) i have not got any update on the status. This morning I spoke to Mr.Sanjay of their Service Centre, I was told that due to closing they could not update the status to me and also it will take another few days to get the belt. My washing machine is lying unused for the last few days. The attitude of the people here is very casual. Can higher authority of Samsung take up this matter on priorty so that their consumer should not suffer because of their internal probelm? Or else give me some other solution??

After sales service of Samsung is pathetic. I would say beyond patheticness. I have sworn not to invest in Samsung products ever in my life. Their employees (area manager levels also) are a shame to multinational professional work culture. They just dont entertain calls beyond working hours. And they dont care a damn.
In contrast I found LG’s service (and products) far far better and reliable.

Sir/Madam,
I had purchased samsung GT-S5233S (IMEI no:35720203114866/2) from mobile store at Bangalore, India. Within 10 days of purchase, the lock of the memory card was not working. Still the card was being read by the phone. I took it to the Samsung care center at Brahmagiri, Udupi (Karnataka) since I reside at Manipal. The technician inspected it. After he had dismantled the phone, and put it back together I did not check to see if the memory card slot was working fine. On reaching home I found that the card was not being detected. On taking this matter to the care center, the receptionist said the manager was out for personal work during working hours. After waiting for 45 minutes, he plainly denied that his technician had opened the case. He accused me of damaging the slot. I being a girl could not fight back since he threatened me. All his staff members were watching us. Such uncouth behaviour was totally uncalled for. I am being badly harrassed by the manager. I am paying for buying a samsung mobile phone. I still cannot believe that such a reputed brand can provide such low service. The disgusting behaviour of the staff has put your brand name to shame. Customers being victimized by such a reputed brand is not what we expect. Its out of lot of savings that I had bought this phone. Please help me.
Awaiting for your earliest reply and appropriate action.
Regards,
Soumya Dash

My Samsung Split AC AS18UTAXTL purchased in March 2009 ws working fine, and I used to get regular servicing done by the Trivandrum Service Centre.
After the last such service visit on Saturday 10th April 2010, the AC internal vent unit started to rattle badly whenever it was switched on, and cooling decreased significantly.
Until prior to that visit, the AC was silent and was cooling well. Service was requested simply to clean the filter and check gas levels as part of routing maintenance.
Since the AC was rattling so severely that it could not be used, I requested another service visit to correct the problem.
At the second service visit on Saturday 17th April 2010, I was informed by the Service Technician that the blower vanes were bent and that the blower would have to be replaced. After this visit, the blower unit actually started to shake severely when switched on, in addition to the rattling.
I have insisted that I will not pay for the replacement of the blower, since it was obviously damaged during the technician’s service intervention on 10/04/2010.
It has been a week now, and I am still waiting to get the unit fixed.
I must say that this whole experience has been extremely painful and has greatly reduced my opinion of Samsung as a first line manufacturer and supplier of home and electronic appliances.
I am hoping the direct intervention of Samsung India in this issue and rapid resolution to the problem.

I have purchased one split AC on 06/06/2009, last season it was functioning real good. this year when i started it was not cooling at all.
I lodged a complain in customer care on 18-04-2010, BP no 8414544870. Two days later an engineer visited and diagnosed problem with gas leakage, he told it will be filled by another engineer in a day. From that day onwards nobody visited my problem.
I called customer care on 30th April,02may,03may,05may and toady also. Everytime the call executive informed me that the complain is being forwarded to technical department, but to no avail.
I insisted to talk to senior fellows but they didnt gave me any contact details, instead they made me on hold for morethan 20-30min.
Its pathetic real shamefull to have brand supported by such rookie careless customer care team.
It sucks really.
Today again, one service engineer called me just to inform that he will be visiting my residence for a fresh complain, when i told him regarding the earlier visit he said its not his responsibility to refill the coolant.
I called the customer care again , the executive informed me that within 1hr i will get a call back from one of the senior person. Uptill now , almost after 6-7hrs of my call i am still waiting for the back up call.
I work for ranbaxy, and i can assure you one thing that no matter what you are going to do after this post of mine , i will certainly clear the air regarding the brand SAMSUNG.
A brand that is big enough but not big enough to satisfy its valuable customers. Perhaps its a brand which believes in seeing its sales go high, at the cost of trust of its customer.
I am extremely extremely disappointed. Extremely disapointed.

I have had a ’HORRIBLE’ experience with Samsung’s Services in Pune. I had opened a call with Samsung – BP number 8409354752 on 26/April 2010 to service my Window AC which only needed some cleaning because of some clogging in the coils which I was not able to clean.
After one month and numerous calls to the Samsung helpline finally a technician from Samsung came. After the so called ’service’ where I paid Rs 350/- the coils inside the AC started freezing up immediately. I contacted the helpline and informed them about this problem which has started after the first service.
After almost 2 weeks, a new technical came to ’inspect’ what was wrong. After his findings he said that someone will come and fix the problem. Again after following up with Samsung one more technician came to ’inspect’ what was wrong. I don’t understand why they sent two technicians almost after a gap of 2 weeks just to ’inspect’ what was wrong. Both technicians said that there could be some blockage in the coil or some leakage. At this stage I was becoming even more frustrated and when I called up their number said that they would send someone to fix the problem.
When the fourth technician arrived today, he said that it will cost Rs 1700/- to replace the Freon gas so that the coils will stop freezing. One thing to note here was that my AC was working perfectly and even cooling the room before all this started. After he repaired the AC and replaced the gas, he took Rs 1700/- and told me to start the AC after 2 hours.
After 2 hours when I started it the AC only cooled for about 10 minutes and then the compressor stopped and started blowing hot air. When I checked, the compressor had become very very hot.
My AC which was working fine earlier now has stopped working because of Samsungs pathetic service.
I am completely FRUSTRATED with Samsung for their pathetic service.

Hi,
Our split AC model no. AST18WJWD XTL went for repair to PRS Sevices, 5, Samipya Flats, opp. Welcome Flats, Urmi- Dinesh Mill Road, Akota, Vadodara- 390020, Ph no.:0265 – 6538695, 2342488 , an authorized service center of Samsung India Electronics Ltd in Vadodara city, Gujarat. on approx 27th may 2010, after making several calls and follow ups it was installed back on approx 6th June 2010. But the AC was not giving proper cooling, so , we asked PRS services to do a check, one of the engineer came and filled the gas, but there was no result, so he decided to again take the AC back to the service center, the AC was taken back on 14th June 2010 and we were promised by the engineer that AC would be installed in 2 working days.
Today its 24th June 2010 , and we are still following up the the PRS services to install the AC back.
For 1 month approximately from 27th may – 24th June 2010, we have stayed without AC in summer season, where the temperature goes up to 46 degrees.
We are one of the Loyal customer of Samsung as far as home appliances are concerned, We have 2 AC’s both of Samsung, 1 Refrigerator of Samsung, 1 kitchen Owen of Samsung.
Kindly do the needful, so that we do not feel sorry on our decision to have Samsung in our home.
I hope one of the management people reads this mail, understands our problem and take some necessary step to resolve it.
